Galveston Sustainable Communities Alliance Launches Ready Rosie Early Education Program
GALVESTON ISLAND, Texas (October XX, 2014) – Galveston Sustainable Communities Alliance will launch an exciting new early education program entitled ReadyRosie to parents and caregivers. The unique digital video service will be offered free to Galvestonians beginning in December 2014. A preview party introducing the ReadyRosie program will take place on December 3, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Stuttgarden Tavern on the Strand, 2110 The Strand. Through a digital video service delivered directly to email, ReadyRosie’s mission is to equip and inspire parents and caregivers to create the informal, enjoyable learning environments for young children. Together, children experience their first encounters with literacy and numeracy. With the exciting push for every child to have access to formal learning experiences through Universal pre-K efforts, we cannot forget the important emphasis on providing every child with informal, fun learning opportunities.
